Poppycock: The Comics and Art of Ben Templesmith
Join Ben Templesmith and Secret Headquarters in Los Angeles on October 12 for the opening of his show, Poppycock! The Comics and Art of Ben Templesmith.
Templesmith is the critically acclaimed Australian artist and writer responsible for various creative duties on titles such as 30 Days of Night, Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse and Fell to name just a few. His work has appeared across the globle and Secret Headquarters is proud to be the host for his first US show, Poppycock!
Poppycock will be showcasing artwork from 30 Days of Night and Wormwood along with a few never-before-seen pieces by Ben. Also available will be exclusive prints and merchandise only available at Secret Headquarters.
In addition to Ben's art work, photographs from the movie set of 30 Days of Night that were shot by the director of the film, David Slade (Hard Candy), will be on display.
Ben will be attending the opening so stop by for some drinks and chat with the Aussie.
Opening Reception: Friday, 12 October 2007, 8pm - 11pm.
