Beloved online cartoonist Anna-Laura Sullivan makes her graphic novel debut with a captivating adventure about misfits exploring the dark edges of their world!

Since nuclear war plunged the world into darkness, Slumber City has been humanity's last beacon of hope: a rain-soaked island utopia where everyone is cheerful. Everyone except Urchin, a gloomy orphan who can't see what there is to smile about. Then the elderly Marvin and Pearl take Urchin in, and suddenly Urchin is swept up in their search for answers to the damp, shadowy mysteries beyond the city limits. Along the way they start to uncover what Slumber City's mysterious mayor is really planning.
